Meet Our Doctor and Staff

Jacob Mauck, DVM

Dr. Jacob Mauck grew up surrounded by animals as the son of the town vet in rural Central Illinois. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Florida, he graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Moving to the Charlotte area shortly thereafter, Dr. Mauck worked at practices in Bessemer City and Fort Mill before opening Crown Town Animal Hospital in the summer of 2022.

Dr. Mauck and his wife Glenda have two adorable daughters named Evelyn and Lucia and a beloved dog named Maya. Dr. Mauck’s professional interests include dentistry, dermatology, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery. In his spare time he enjoys playing music, traveling, and riding his bicycle on the many greenways around Charlotte.
